About the event
Every first Sunday of the month at the BMI is the Sphinx Salon, a monthly social & educational event serving as the community-building arm of the conference. Come along and enjoy a quality occult lecture on topics such as alchemy, astrology, divination, magick, theurgy & more. Socialise with like-minded folk with tea, coffee and Devonshire scones with raspberry jam. In Australia venues don't seem to understand that traditionally, Devonshire (or Cornish) cream teas MUST be served with clotted cream. If you've never tried a proper clotted cream scone, you are in for a treat!
If you do wish to attend, make sure you arrive just before 1:30pm out the front of the BMI. We have to lock the building behind us, so if you're late, you get locked out. How's that for initiation?
